Vol visit 'eye-opening' for Franklin
Plantation, Fla., quarterback John Franklin didn't know what to expect when he stepped off his plane in Knoxville Saturday morning as he began his official visit to Tennessee. The Florida State commitment and blazing fast dual-threat quarterback wasn't expecting what he saw during his time on Rocky Top.
Since committing to the Noles the first day of November, his recruitment had been mostly shut down until Tennessee offensive coordinator Mike Bajakian got him to visit Knoxville for what became an eye-opening experience.
