BIO NOTES

2007 (Junior): Junior tailback who is expected to split time in the backfield with senior Cory Boyd... played in 12 of 13 games in 2006, making five starts... was second on the team with 100 carries for 474 yards... averaged 4.7 yards per carry... logged six rushing touchdowns... also caught 11 passes for 94 yards... missed the first several days of camp with an infection in his left foot... gained just 36 yards through the season's first three games before breaking loose for 92 yards on 15 carries in the win over Florida Atlantic... included was his first TD run of the season... did not have any carries against Kentucky... had his best game of the season when he carried 16 times for 94 yards and two touchdowns at Florida... missed the Middle Tennessee game.. returned for the Clemson game and rushed a dozen times for 69 yards and two scores... carried 14 times for 72 yards in the Liberty Bowl win over Houston including a season-long 25-yard burst... four of his six TDs came in his last three games... has made 14 career starts with two 100-yard rushing games... became the 37th player in school history to rush for 1,000 yards in his career.

2005 (Freshman): Came on strong at the end of his freshman season... made nine starts as a true freshman... was the team's leading rusher with 146 carries for 666 yards and five touchdowns... logged the first 100-yard rushing game of his collegiate career with 111 yards in the regular season finale against Clemson (the first 100-yard rushing game by a Gamecock in over two years), then topped that with a career-best 125 yards and two scores on 18 carries in the Independence Bowl against Missouri... gained 413 yards over the final four games after rushing for just 253 yards in the first eight contests... also caught 15 passes for 136 yards, including a 64-yard reception in the season opener versus UCF... made his first career start at Georgia... scored his first career touchdown and the Gamecocks' first rushing touchdown of the season against Alabama in the third game... rushed 19 times for 79 yards against Troy... rushed for 89 yards on 16 carries in the win at Arkansas, including a season-best 37-yard tote... carried a season-high 22 times for 88 yards and two TDs against Florida.
