I'm a Gamecock and they just announced that we will be playing y'all every year as part of the permanent East-West foe deal. Our message boards are already fired up about getting to come see Kyle Field every other year. Welcome to the SEC!
5/29 2:18 PM | IP: Logged Thanks! Your AD let this slip a month or two ago, BTW.:)

Please enjoy your new hire. Don't get to excited he did not coach the first game nor did he hire coach Spurrier or coach Tanner.

LMAO yeah but you know whats funny here? Who will South Carolina look to to be their new SEC West Foe when A&M beats you as many times as the Hogs? Hell other than the distance A&M has a cupcake on their schedule with the we dont like getting beat every year by the Hogs cause we think we are better than you Cocks............LOL Preseason smack got to love it :)

Just don't give your new coach a Harley to ride Hog fan and you guys should do fine with whoever you new perm opponent is :D

Gotta love the pre-season smack!

A&M just poached the Gamecocks AD and the season has not even started.

A&M +1  USC -1

You guys are lucky...  Some teams get all the breaks, we get to play LSU every single year as our permanent West opponent.

I guess SOMEONE has to get lucky and get the vanderbilts, kentuckys, and south carolinas.

One bit of advice, I would suggest wearing a bullet proof vest when you visit SCAR for your games, as that's the only SEC stadium I've been to where gangbangers have threatened bodily harm to old white haired men, all while the cops just stand by and watch and did nothing.  SCAR's stadium is in a VERY VERY bad neighborhood, and a very strong gang contingent is present at all of the games I've attended there as a visitor.   I've seen some disgusting things involved with college football as a whole, but never seen a group of thugs threatening an 80 year old man that they will be waiting for him outside the stadium anyplace else.   At Tennessee, they bust your windshield, at Georgia, they urinate on your car tires while on all fours like a dog, at F$U you will get mugged, but nothing was as bad as the stuff I've seen at South Carolina, so just a word of warning as a visitor there.   I think the biggest difference was the cops don't do anything about it at their stadium, where that is generally not tolerated in other stadiums I've been to.

FYI I was last at South Carolina stadium on November 12 of last year according to my ticket.  This is incidently the same visit in which the disgusting altercation occurred.    Any of you don't believe me, just for giggles, go to one of your games one time, in the visitors section dressed in your opponents clothing, and just see how you are treated, I dare some of you.   Many SCAR fans have admitted that they are ashamed of where their campus sits and how the area is so bad around it, so I'm not painting every USC fan as such, just that you better be prepared to face the bad apples who congregate by the visitor's seating when you go to a game there.

You are pretty funny.  SC stadium sits in a wide open space and is probably one of the safest I've ever been to or seen.  Been going to games for 30 years and never seen a "gang banger" in the area.  Were you doing angel dust on your visit and dreamed this?  This is some of the best fiction I've ever read.  "Ashamed of where their campus sits?"........where did you pull that rabbit from?  I've heard fans say occasionally they wish the "stadium" was on campus and not a mile away......but that's about it.  Great venue, plenty of parking, plenty of area for people walking around, great tailgating.............that sums up SC's stadium.  But hey, your perception is your reality.

You must be a dawg fan or something.............if you want to fight or have your windshield broken, now UGA is the place to go.

Congrats A&M, it will be rough for a couple years until Spurs retires, once that happens they'll revert to the easy conference win they've always been.

This is comical coming from what may be the easiest win in the league for the past two years......UF.  Be glad you had that
6' 7" freak that could jump through the roof and block field goals or you would have lost 3 straight to SC instead of 2.  This year will be no different.  Enjoy your 6-6 season.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^This.  There are so many errors in this guy's bashing of Carolina's stadium and area surrounding it that it is a certainty that he's never been there.  Not only is Williams Brice Not in a 'neighborhood', but it is in an open area surrounded by hundreds of acres of custom tailgaiting sites and lots.  Carolina's 'campus', founded in 1801, with much of it's original architecture (that Sherman didn't burn) is located in the historic area of downtown Columbia and is as beautiful and any in America.  FYI, we are the one of the few college stadium that that has backs on 75% of it's seats--including most of the bleacher seats.  Any of you questioning the area, google the address and visit google earth for a birds eye view.  Keep in mind there's been over 30 million dollars spent directly around the stadium since last season alone--with another 10 million or so already planned for next summer.  The comments about the gang presence and Police not enforcing the law are too ridiculous for me to comment on.

Welcome to the SEC.....you're in for a fun ride.  AND you'll love Columbia and the Great State of South Carolina.

Looking forward to it Aggies. My mom is from the DFW area, so its like a second home for me. Have always enjoyed watching you guys, and for what its worth, I think you will benefit more than any team by joining the SEC. All that Tx. talent, and being able to now offer the kids a chance to play in the SEC? Pure gold.

1.) The Cock Block, one of my favorite UF wins of all time occurred in 2006. A UF team missing like 7 starters due to injury managed to beat Spurrier and his wannabes on the last play of the game, the swamp was as loud as I ever heard it after we blocked that kick, it was fantastic.
2.) That blocked kick, that lead to a MNC btw(something you've never done in like 120 years of football) happened in 2006, you won in 2005, so had you won that game it would have been two in a row, UF blew USCjr out from 2007 to 2009 so we weren't in much danger of losing 3 in a row.
3.) Enjoy Spurrier now, he'll be gone in 2-3 years and you'll start sucking again immediately, because that's who you are.
4.) I cannot wait to watch my boys ruin your season in two short weeks.

ironic btw, our last two seasons were 7-6 and 8-5, that would be wildly successful for a two year span at USCjr. You shouldn't critique 6-6 seasons because your 120 year average is like ..0001% above .500.

Yeah ape man, those multiple blocked kicks in that win (which led to your NC) occured with a player who was busted for smoking pot the week before the USC game, and Meyer played him any way and he was responsible for two of those blocked kicks (you know of which I speak), so anyway the Gaturds wins at home by a point or two, but the pot smoker was allowed to play in that game and UF goes on to win the NC. I will not say the name, you know it, I just hate putting college players on the line like that, but your coach played a guy who who failed his second drug test that season and he blocked two kicks which resulted in a 17-16 Gaturds win, the young man never should have been playing. Meyers was a punk in that sense. He sold that soul on that day. Say what you will about SOS, he does not, and has never played that shit. People love to hate on him, but a drug violation? They do not play for SOS that week, without the required suspension. I will see now a bunch of SOS haters, he never did anything like that. Ever. As much grief as he gets for being "arrogant", the man never plays games with NCAA violations, and if you see it otherwise, you do not know the man, he seriously will not cross that line, he is too proud to do so, and he has 25 years of history to prove it, the man is no cheater or a coach that wants to ever be associated with such. Arrogant? Yes, cheater?, No .

1.) Paragraph Breaks are your friend.
2.) If Gaturds is a wicked burn to you than I would submit that your intellectual growth stopped somewhere in middle school.
3.) I don't care about pot. It should be legal. IMHO the kid did nothing wrong and I am glad he played.
4.) If you didn't want him to block those kicks you should have blocked him.
5.) Exactly how many more players did we need to be down for you to win that game? We suspended Marcus Thomas, the best DT in the league that year for the season prior to our game with ya'll, Percy Harvin didn't play against ya'll in that game due to injury. It was so long ago I can't remember it all, but I know we were missing like 6 starters for that game. And you still couldn't win.
6.) I enjoyed watching my Gators(again) destroy any hope you may have had of winning any sort of title, but that probably doesn't even phase you. Deep down you know USCjr is a loser program and is never going to win a damn thing. Ya'll need to let Spurs retire so he can stop tarnishing his legacy at your podunk college.
