We're looking for some current students at A&M to help us out with a variety of aspects of the site. While we would like people who have some writing ability, we're used to working with that aspect of the gig. Mostly, we need people that are hungry, have a passion for A&M athletics, are somewhat knowledgeable about sports, and are RELIABLE.
I can't emphasize that last word enough: RELIABLE...:)
You would be doing everything from assisting us with videography of a high school game to tracking down prospect phone numbers to simply doing what modsquadder did at Sunday's camp which was helping tally names and seeing who could play fotball. We would be willing to work with you on course credit if possible depending on your degree plan. We're willing to work around your course schedule because we would probably need people on the weekends moreso than any other time.

Courtney will be back. She finishes her internship at KPRC on the 13th. Will start Aggie training camp on the 14th. Will miss the first week.
Already working on fall schedule - maybe a trip to Florida to interview Shaun Ward? Up to Tarp.

In regards to the Sports Management program, I just completed it and the required internship. They have a 'Master List' of sites that A&M has connections to for internships. If I remember correctly the Rivals one was expired. If you are interested in more future interns I would say e-mail Shane Hudson at shudson@hlkn.tamu.edu, he runs the internship program for the department. I sent you an email as well since I'm heading to grad school and will be here for a few more years, just thought you may be interested in future interns who may not know about these possibilities.

You should speak with the Sport Management department at A&M. They have a pre-internship class that is usually taken over the summer, and one of the things that they do is have prospective employees come and speak about their internships. I would bet that you will find a few people there that will fit what you are looking for. If you had of come by when I was in school, I'm sure I would have been one of the many that tried to jump all over that opportunity. Good luck!
