Thanks to 85_Ag and the guys who have helped him get batteries and the car detailed, we have taken possession of the van, which is apparently in tip-top shape. It only cost us, incredibly enough, $1,500 (a little closer to $1,800 with a new windshield and batteries).
Considering we raised $3,700, we've got plenty left over. That will be going to a laptop computer, possibly an XBox and with Devin to the Tristar show on Jan. 21-23 so he can get whatever memorabilia he wants to replace the stolen stuff (I'm talking to Tristar to see if they'll be willing to help on that front too).
Next week, probably early, we're going to give him all this stuff. He has NO IDEA it's coming. If possible, I'd really like as many of you guys as possible to be there when he gets it, because you all deserve serious appreciation. I will let you know times and locations shortly.
