Darboh visits Iowa City

With offers already in hand from Iowa, Iowa State, Wisconsin and Notre Dame, Amara Darboh is the early favorite to be the top in-state prospect in the Class of 2012. This past weekend, the 6-foot-2, 190-pound wide receiver from West Des Moines Dowling was among a handful of recruits from the Hawkeye State invited to Iowa's first junior day of the year.

"It was fun," said Darboh. "I got to hang out with guys like Barkley Hill, James Harrington, and Charles Rogers. We had lunch, toured the facilities, and then talked to the coaches."

As a junior, Darboh helped Dowling win a state championship in Class 4A, finishing with 49 catches for 646 yards and six touchdowns.
