All eyes were on Ohio State's jersey scrimmage on Saturday, including the eyes of some top prospects from around the Midwest. Class of 2013 Shaker Heights (Ohio) athlete De'Niro Laster was among the curious observers and the 6-foot-2, 205-pound prospect was blown away by his experience in Columbus.

"Man it was wonderful," said Laster. "The coaches were great, getting to watch the players was great, I loved it. It felt like home."

As a player that is still trying to figure out what position he will play at the college level, Laster was busy trying to focus on all of the positions that he plays for his high school team.

"At practice I was focusing on basically how they setup their practice and my positions as far as receiver, tight end, and the linebackers," Laster said. "I was watching what they were doing on every play and I was just basically studying off of that."

At the moment, Laster's best position is probably wide receiver and he couldn't have been more impressed with the Buckeye's top returning pass-catcher.

"I was just in shock at how good DeVier Posey was," he said. "I was watching him and in person he is really good. He's definitely not overrated or anything like that. I was also watching the linebackers and they were all looking good."

Afterwards, Laster was able to hang around and talk with some of the coaches and get more familiar with them, most notably his lead recruiter.

"At the end I was able to talk my coach (Taver) Johnson, my recruiter, and ask him some questions," he explained. "We basically just talked about the upcoming season, my recruiting and camps and everything and to keep in contact with him."

Laster recently had a change of plans regarding his summer camp schedule. Instead of going on his own to various college camps, he will now be taking part in the Raw Talent Bus Tour headed by Raw Talent Sports CEO Mark Harris. Ohio State will be one of the stops on the tour.
