The 2013 class in Ohio seems to have an abundance of tall wide receivers with players like Kevin Gladney, Trey Kilgore, Shelton Gibson, and Rob Wheelwright all either holding offers or being on the verge of receiving them.

Another player that falls into this category is Shaker Heights product De'Niro Laster. The 6-foot-3, 215-pound prospect holds three offers from MAC programs already and is hearing from schools all over the nation. Last Saturday, Laster's talents were on display against University School. Below we breakdown Laster's game and talk about his strengths and weaknesses.

Physically, Laster is a big, imposing target that provides a really tough match-up for opposing corners. His size and strength allow him to easily get off jams at the line of scrimmage and if given a cushion, his route running is crisp enough to generate separation in the short and intermediate passing game.

Multiple times on Saturday Laster used that cushion and made tough catches over the middle in traffic showing strong hands and physical toughness. Once Laster catches the football, he's a load to bring down and usually requires multiple defenders to bring him to the ground.

Another area where Laster is ahead of the curve is blocking. Laster showed a tremendous ability and willingness to block both out on the perimeter and lined up at tight end, recording a few pancakes and springing some big runs for his teammates.

Ultimately, the biggest question for Laster will be his straight line speed. He has excellent size, he's physical, he's tough, and he's a natural pass-catcher, his speed will be what makes or breaks him in terms of being a mid-tier Big Ten type of prospect or a prospect that sees offers from the top programs in the Midwest.
