JUCO safety holds Oregon State offer

Oregon State is in heavy pursuit of help from the junior college ranks this recruiting season, and the Beavers are looking for a lot of help on defense. Oregon State made an offer to one player from the Arizona JUCO ranks...who says he likes what Oregon State has to offer.

Mesa safety Tigi Hill is a tremendous looking prospect on the field, and had an outstanding freshman campaign when he totaled 50 tackles with two sacks and two interceptions. He says four offers came in during the spring semester.

"I have offers from Hawaii, Kansas, Oregon State and Utah," Hill said. "They all came in during March and April."

Hill says he has always liked Oregon State.

"They were the first ones to offer me in high school," Hill said. "They offered me this time in March."

Hill is 6-foot-3, 220 pounds and runs the 40-yard dash in the 4.6 range. He says a number of others are just waiting for grades before offering.
