2013 lineman high on Eagles

Brad Henson camped at Boston College this summer and really hit it off with the coaching staff so it was good news when the Eagles decided to offer after the workout.

The Toms River (N.J.) Monsignor Donovan offensive guard hasn't been in much contact with the Boston College coaching staff because the two sides cannot communicate much yet but Henson said he's thoroughly excited about where things might be headed.

The 6-foot-5, 275-pound recruit said he especially hit it off with Boston College assistant coach Sean Devine.

"I like it a lot up there," Henson said. "It's a great school academically and I have a great relationship with the coaches. It was great to get an offer after the camp.

"Coach Devine is great. I hit it off pretty well with coach Devine. He has a good personality, he likes my work ethic and he's very good at teaching pass blocking. He's just a really good coach."

Henson said Boston College's coaches made it clear once they can start contacting him they'll definitely be in touch.

"They can't contact me until the start of my junior year so I haven't heard from them yet," Henson said. "They can't talk to me so I haven't really heard from them.

"They made it very clear that they'd love to contact me before I left but they can't so I understand. I'm not worried."

Boston College, Rutgers and Central Florida have offered Henson, who said he doesn't necessarily have a favorite yet because he hasn't seen what UCF has to offer.

Henson picked up offers after camps at Boston College and Rutgers so he's happy with how things are going heading into his junior season.

"I don't really have a favorite out of the three because I haven't been to UCF so I can't judge them fairly," Henson said. "Rutgers and BC I like them both so I don't really have any favorites right now."

On top of Henson's three offers, he claims new interest from Maryland, West Virginia, Tennessee and Notre Dame.
