Sooners Land No. 11
Though Oklahoma's 2013 class was loaded at the wide receiver position there has been little doubt that receivers coach Jay Norvell has focused his attention on adding further depth to Oklahoma's core of receivers. With that in mind, Oklahoma recently offered Manvel, Texas three-star receiver Austin Bennett following a performance at the McMurry camp at Sugarland (Texas) Dulles.

Earlier this spring Bennett was scheduled to go to Norman but made a late change and elected to visit Texas A&M after the hopes of but on Wednesday he made up for his prior absence and made his way to Norman for an unofficial visit.
During the visit Bennett committed to Norvell and the Oklahoma Sooners.
"Yes sir, (I committed)," Bennett said via Twitter.
Bennett, the nation's No. 61 receiver, and No. 59 player overall in the state of Texas, also held offers from not only the Razorbacks as well as Ole Miss, Mississippi State, SMU, TCU, Tulsa, and West Virginia.
And his head coach, Kirk Martin, couldn't be more excited about his decision for the future.
"Oklahoma is a special place. I am happy for Austin. He deserves it. He's a special kid that will do well there. Coach (Bob) Stoops has built a very family oriented staff much like our high school program. Some programs are in to productions but coach Stoops and his staff are very real down to earth people that take a workmanlike approach. I believe it will be a great fit for Austin," Martin said.
With the Rivals.com Convention currently taking place we'll catch up with a full video interview with Bennett very soon.
