AYTV: Kyle Allen opens up about Manziel, A&M & Army

Johnny Manziel sums up the year 2013. Texas A&M's future, 2014 five-star QB Kyle Allen, opens up about Manziel, the Chick-fil-A Bowl and Army Bowl prospects he is recruiting.

On the first day of practice at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, there was no surprise when Kyle Allen's name appeared on the top performers list for the West team.

"Allen was able to show off his arm as he put the ball on the money to some big targets. He was strong in his footwork, kept the ball high, and was quick on his release," said Rivals Recruiting Analyst Jason Howell.

As Howell watched Allen at practice today he tweeted: "Kyle Allen with a bullet on the roll out. He's pretty good."

Allen does not let his five-star fame, All-American status or the title of Johnny Manziel's successor get to his head.

He said he is humbled and honored to play at the Army-All-American Bowl. The number one pro-style quarterback said that he wants to honor and play for all of those fighting for him and this country.

At the Army Bowl Allen addressed the Aggies and the Chick-fil-A bowl odds as well as Manziel's future:

"I think (A&M) is going to win by a little bit more than that," Allen said modestly. "If I heard right, I think Johnny's decided he is leaving, so I think he is going to go out with a bang--just like he has played his whole career."
