7-on-7: Crawford Talks A&M, Top Schools & Recruiting

Rockdale 2018 four-star ATH Jaquayln Crawford spoke 1-n-1 with AggieYell at the Texas State 7-on-7 in College Station. The wide reciever/cornerback said that he will be releasing his "top four" colleges in the very near future, and Texas A&M is in.

"Texas and Texas A&M are two of the schools," said Crawford. "...Texas started off recruiting me as a wide receiver, but they just picked up a wide receiver commit. Now they are recruiting me on defense...A&M was the other way around; they started recruiting me on defense, but now they are recruiting me at receiver."

At 7-on-7 Crawford played both sides of the ball and even a little quarterback at times. He admits though at the next level he prefers being on offense.

"I like to get the ball in my hands and make plays," said Crawford. "I prefer receiver, but I am good with both and will play either."
