AM exceeds Leflore-Chriss expectations

New Orleans (La.) Warren Easton Rivals250 wide receiver Clyde Leflore-Chriss has kept an open mind throughout much of the recruiting process. Although last week after his unofficial visit to Texas A&M he admitted that the Aggies exceeded his expectations.
"From 1-to-10 I give the visit an 11," Leflore-Chriss said. "I was already close to Coach (Aaron) Moorehead because we talk almost everyday on twitter, but I was still looking forward to just hanging out with him in person. It was my second time to see him in person and the second time was even better than second. He is great. We watched game film and just got to know each other even better. It was a blessing to just be at A&M. You can tell Coach Moorehead is all about his players"

Coach Moorehead's youth and his time in the NFL were also a bonus for Leflore-Chriss.
"You always want to be coached by the best, and Coach Moorehead has that experience of playing with the best," said Leflore-Chriss. "That is a big deal for me, and Coach Moorehead isn't afraid to get out there and run around and show you how it's all done. I love that he is almost like one of the players, because he is still so athletic."
Clyde-Leflore Chriss said he had time with all of the coaches including head coach Kevin Sumlin.
"I had one-on-one time with Coach Sumlin," said Leflore-Chriss. "We had a man-on-man conversation. He talked to me not like a coach, but like a best friend. He was real."
Leflore-Chriss saw the facilities and took a tour of the school, but another visit to Aggieland appears to be in the future.
"I haven't made any officials yet, but I know I am going to take one to Texas A&M," said Leflore-Chriss.
The 6-foot, 170-pound receiver is currently ranked No. 118 in the Rivals250, No. 22 among the nation's wide receivers, and No. 11 in the Rivals.com Louisiana Spring Top 50.
