AM staff on the road again

Spring football started for some high schools on Wednesday and many more will begin this week. College programs are on the road again following up with recruits and scouting new talent. Here is a review of where the Aggies have been and what offers were extended this week and what you can expect next week.
The Aggies did not have to do much evaluating when looking at the film of Rivals100 cornerback Trayvon Mullen. A&M offered the Coconut Creek (Fla.) four-star prospect this week joining a list that includes Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Cincinnati, Clemson, Florida, Florida Intl., Florida State, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, Maryland, Miami (FL), Michigan St, Mississippi, Mississippi St, Missouri, Nebraska, N. Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio St., Oklahoma, Rutgers, South Carolina, South Florida, TCU, Temple, Tennessee, UCF, UCLA, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Wisconsin. (That took a while to type).

Safe to say the 6-2, 156-pound corner is a highly coveted prospect. The Aggies main competitors are going to be Florida State, LSU and Ohio State.
An offer coming soon for Kennedale 2017 outside linebacker?
Kennedale 2017 outside linebacker Baron Browning said A&M would be stopping by the school next week to evaluate.
"Coach Mark Hagen and Coach John Chavis will be by the school next Wednesday," said Browning.
The four-star prospect is picking up momentum and already has offers from Arkansas, Baylor, Nebraska, Oklahoma St., Stanford, Texas Tech, UCLA and Washington.
Browning said he thinks an offer could be coming from OU as soon as this weekend. The 6-4, 220-pound prospect is hopeful that will generate motion for other programs.
A&M checking in on TCU Pledge
Kingwood four-star athlete Sewo Olonilua said Texas A&M would by the school next week. Olonilua is currently committed to TCU, but he said A&M is still on his radar.
"Definitely," he said. "Mainly because my sister goes there."
Olonilua's sister is a sophomore at A&M.
The 6-2, 215-pound athlete was one of the top defensive performers at the Houston Rivals camp. He spent the day at safety and took home the Athletic Achievement award.
A&M working on getting former WR commit back on board
Westfield wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland said A&M would be out at the school next Thursday.
Last week Cleveland decided to de-commit from A&M in order to develop relationships with other programs. Cleveland said the Aggies are still high on his list and that Coach Kevin Sumlin said they still want him to be an Aggie.
A&M will also be at Westfield for quarterback Dillon-Sterling Cole and defensive lineman Ed Oliver.
Cleveland will still be busy with track. In this weeks area meet his 4x100 relay team placed first.
While the Aggies are in the Houston area I would not be surprised if they stop by Manvel to follow up with Deontay Anderson and North Shore for Eric Monroe.
A&M follows up on Texas A&M commit Travon Fuller
Texas A&M made an early move in the recruitment of Athens cornerback Travon Fuller. The Aggies offer started a chain reaction of as other college programs saw the talent in the four-star prospect. Luckily for the Aggies Travon appreciated their early offer and showed it with a verbal commitment.
Even though other programs are still pursuing the Rivals250 corner he remains loyal to the program that reached out first. The Aggies showed their appreciation this week with a visit to Athens (Texas).
"It went real well," said Athens head coach Paul Esry. "Coach Terry Joseph talked with me, and the team did their workout during athletic period...They are excited about Travon and Travon is excited about them. They just wanted to make sure that Travon and myself knew they are looking forward to him getting there."
Committed or not, when you're the No.12 cornerback in the nation programs never go away until signed letter of intent is in.
"They are all trying to get in on him," said Cpach Esry. "It was a good deal when A&M offered him after his sophomore year. That showed that they really cared, and Travon is a real loyal type of individual. That's what really helped get their foot in the door and everybody else waited until after his junior year. We've had some others still throwing offers out there. He just likes Texas A&M and they got their foot in the door early. That's the main thing. They built a relationship with him and got ahead of everybody else."
Coach Joseph has had time to get to know Travon on another level compared to the rest and it shows.
"I think they (Travon and Coach Joseph) have a really good relationship. Travon likes him and you can tell he has a great personality. Kids want to play for him. I can understand why Travon really likes him."
The Aggies are keeping that relationship going and making early moves...on to the next one.
"They talked to me about other recruits we have coming up in the future," said Coach Esry. "I have an inside linebacker, Noah Bush, that a few division one programs are starting to look at as a sophomore. He is going to be something special. He is about 6-2, 215-pounds. A&M said they are going to keep an eye on him. He is just a sophomore so they just wanted to talk to me about him and then go back and look at some film."
It's always a fight to the finish in the SEC. The Aggies are traveling the distance to keep Travon Fuller locked in, and of course start making early moves.
Aggies stopped in to see top JUCO prospect Tyree Horton
Texas A&M stopped in Highland (Kan.) Community College today to see outside linebacker Tyree Horton. The 6-1, 225-pound prospect has an offer from the Aggies, but it will take a lot to take the Florida State commit away from the Seminoles.
Horton said that Coach Mark Hagen came by to see him and wide receiver Troy Grant.
"I listen to (other schools) but I am still 100% committed to Florida State."
"No (I've never been to A&M before.)"
"Yeah, it's possible (that I visits other programs other than Florida State."
"(Other programs on me the most are) TCU, Texas A&M, Florida, Missouri, Ole Miss is supposed to be offering me and I talk to them a lot."
"(What I am looking for in a college is) a good academic program, coming right in and playing, a good football team and good football coaches. Coming right in and playing was a big deal."
"I am majoring in criminal justice."
"(Do you see the opportunity to start early at Florida State and do see it elsewhere) Yeah I see it everywhere else, but Florida State was one of the bigger schools that stood out to me."
"(Family live in) Miami."
"It really doesn't matter how far away from home I am."
"I know a couple of guys at Florida State, Florida, Louisville, pretty much all schools who have offered I know a guy there. Auburn, they are recruiting me pretty hard too."
"Graduate in December."
"I might take an official to TCU, Auburn, Florida..I don't really know yet, but I know Florida State for sure."
"(For a school to compete with Florida State) I have to have a good relationship with the coaching staff, my position coach, a good academic program and I want to come in right away and play."
