Carper Talks Why A&M & Who's Next

Plain Dealing, LA. four-star athlete Keldrick Carper joined the Texas A&M 2017 recruiting class on June 11th. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound defensive back prospect said sure the BBQ in Aggieland that weekend was great, but it was much more than the food that afternoon that made him decide to commit to the Aggies.

"I felt at home," said Carper. "...The way the A&M coaches treat you is consistent. Coach (Kevin) Shmlin, Coach (Terry) Jospeh, all of the coaches, shook my hand and spoke with me..."

When it comes to his word, Carper said his word means something and he is not going anywhere.

"How solid am J from 1-to-10? I'm an eleven," said Carper. "...I'm working on prospects in my area now. A&M doesn't have to worry about recruiting the state of Louisiana. I got this."

Who's next to join the Aggie recruiting class?

According to Carper's predictions this four-star dual-threat quarterback isn't in Cajun country, but can be found in Bradenton, FL at IMG Academy.

"Kellen Mond," said Carper. "It could be in the next couple of days. I mean, who knows, it could even be tonight."
