Siverand Picks The Aggies

The Texas A&M Aggies continued their hot week on Thursday landing their second four-star offensive weapon in as many days as Houston (TX) Cypress Ridge receiver Kemah Siverand gave his verbal pledge to the Aggies just over 24 hours after Allen (TX) quarterback Kyler Murray set the recruiting world abuzz with his commitment to the Aggies as well.
Siverand joined an Aggies class that is rapidly climbing the Rivals.com team rankings and appears to be poised to continue it's climb after breaking into the top 5 this week.

As a junior, Siverand caught just 25 passes for Cypress Ridge but turned those limited opportunities into an impressive 611 receiving yards for a 24 yards per catch to go with seven scores. If those numbers didn't catch the attention of college scouts around the country his performance at camps throughout the region quickly pushed him up the boards of college coaches. He added offers from the Aggies as well as Texas, LSU, Texas Tech, Missouri, Ohio State, Oklahoma State and numerous others.
Siverand is the first receiver to commit to the Aggies in the 2015 recruiting class but seems to be poised to be the first of several as the Aggies are in good standing with several other top pass catchers in Cedar Hill (TX) DaMarkus Lodge, Scottsdale (AZ) Saguaro's Christian Kirk, New Orleans (LA) Holy Cross's Michael Chigbu and New Orleans (LA) Warren Easton's Tyron Johnson.
The 6-foot-1, 190 pound receiver is the twelfth commitment in the class for the Aggies and the eighth four-star. He is ranked by Rivals.com as the 36 receiver in the nation.
Siverand is also a standout on the track for Cypress Ridge, helping the Rams finish second and fourth respectively in their district in the 400 and 800 relay.
