The 2021 Aggies: Green enters junior year an All-American
AggieYell.com's series on the key members of the 2021 Texas A&M football team continues with offensive lineman Kenyon Green.
Class: Junior
Spring Height/Weight: 6-foot-4, 325 pounds
2020 stats: Started all 10 games; first team All-American at left guard
Projected 2021 role: Starting left tackle
Green was a major part of the Aggies' success up front last year, and now he'll move to an even more important role as the starting left tackle. He'll also do it with a lot of attention placed on him, as many preseason publications have him slotted as a first team All-SEC selection at worst.
Green is the only returning starter on the front line, so he'll not only be playing the toughest position on the line, he'll be looked to as a leader as well. If he plays nearly as well as he did last year at guard, odds are it'll be his last in College Station as he heads to the NFL Draft.
