Texas A&M faced off against Baylor in a scrimmage over the weekend, emerging victorious with a 78-73 score. It's worth noting that Julius Marble and Jace Carter were absent from the game.

Texas A&M had 14 turnovers, while Baylor had 19. Wade Taylor and Tyrece Radford emerged as the top scorers for A&M with 20 points each, while newcomer Eli Lawrence made a notable impact with 10 points on perfect shooting.

It will be interesting to see who fills the role of Dexter Dennis, who is now is now in the NBA on a two-way contract with the Mavericks. I believe either Jace Carter or Eli Lawerence, the high-scoring transfers, will start. We will have to wait to see what Buzz does with the lineups.

The early enrollment of 2024 commit Rob Dockery and his active participation in team practices are noteworthy. It's intriguing to see how promising recruits like Dockery and point guard Bryce Lindsay are making their mark in the program. Their presence adds depth and excitement to the team's future prospects.
