Coming home Aggies show interest 16 QB

Texas A&M's quarterback recruiting has taken on a national scope in recent years, with the Aggies landing Scottsdale (Ariz.) QB Kyle Allen and offering several other big names across the country. Their greatest success, however, has come in the Dallas area, signing Kenny Hill and adding the commitment of Allen's Kyler Murray to the class of 2015.
In the 2016 class, they're talking with a quarterback who fits into both categories: Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton's David Moore, a Texas native.

"I'm from Frisco," he told AggieYell.com Sunday night. "I went to Prosper High School before we moved."
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound dual-threat quarterback was a fan of the Aggies before he headed east, and that has not changed.
"I really like their offense and their past quarterbacks," he said. "I visited before and the facilities and everything are awesome. And I miss Texas."
He may get at least a taste of home, as the Aggies are interested in having Moore come visit again soon.
"They want me to come to Junior Day next month and then they're probably going to offer," he said. "It's definitely worth it, so I'm going to really try to get there."
Moore said he has been talking to two prominent members of the A&M coaching staff over the past several weeks.
"I've been talking with coach Spav and coach McKinney," he said. "I love them. Coach McKinney puts a lot of effort in and then coach Spav is straightforward and honest, so that's great for me."
Moore already has landed offers from Marshall and Oregon State, but some big names have also been showing interest. If the Aggies were to offer, that would likely change the equation.
"Illinois, UNC, Wisconsin, Wake Forest, Syracuse, Cal and Arkansas have all been interested," he said. "If they were to offer, they'd go to the top, with Oregon State close behind because of the playing time they offer."
Moore is currently listed as a three-star recruit by Rivals.com.
