After decommitting from Arkansas on Monday, Tulsa (Okla.) Booker T. Washington four-star athlete Micah Tease has announced his commitment to Texas A&M on National Signing Day.

This comes on the heels of a late official visit to Texas A&M this past weekend which got the gears turning towards a flip to Arkansas' SEC West foe.

Tease originally committed to Arkansas in July after seeing Fayetteville on his summer official visit swing along with Notre Dame and USC. However, Texas A&M continued to pursue and eventually landed an official visit of their own in September.

Despite the Aggies struggles in 2022, Tease's interest remained high as he continued to show Texas A&M love through both communication and returning for the December visit. The offensive staff was able to seal the deal with the blueprint that Tease will play receiver in College Station.

At 5-foot-11, 178 pounds, Tease is the No. 223 ranked recruit in the country for the class of 2023, according to Rivals. He is the No. 7 ranked athlete in the country and the No. 3 recruit from the state of Oklahoma.

COMMITMENT ANALYSIS

As an offensive playmaker, Tease is a playmaker that is dangerous with the ball in his hands in the short game. Whether it be on quick screens or end-arounds, Tease is able to capitalize on a quick burst and fire through open lanes with acceleration.

As for improvements at the next level, I'd like to see Tease develop a game downfield as a pure route-runner. Having a teammate like Evan Stewart in the building should help, but if he can unlock that part of his game, we're looking at a dangerous playmaker for the Aggies as they look to build on a pair of strong recruiting classes in the last two cycles.
