Guess who's back, back again? Johnny's back, with some friends.
At halftime of this year's Maroon and White Game, scheduled for April 24, fans won't get a drill by the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band. Instead, they'll get the Texas A&M Lettermen’s Association’s 2021 Aggie Legends Flag Football Game, presented by the City of Bryan.
The game will be highlighted by 2012 Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel, who will serve as the quarterback for both teams. The squads, Team Pickard (in Maroon) and Team Crow (in White), will be coached by two of the best-known Aggies of all time, Jackie Sherrill and Bubba Bean. Players currently in the professional ranks won't be playing, but will be on the sidelines serving as honorary coaches.
