Cleveland enjoys AM visit

Kevin Sumlin and the Texas A&M coaching staff have not taken their foot off the gas when it comes to the recruitment of Houston Westfield four-star wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound prospect has been on a handful of visits this summer with his last stop in Aggieland.
"My first visit was an unofficial to Florida," said Cleveland. "I got to meet and talk with the coaches. After that visit I went to TCU. I didn't get to check everything out, but saw a little bit. Then I went to Arkansas. Arkansas was great. I didn't expect to see what I saw at Arkansas, but they are turning it on there."

Then last weekend Cleveland's wide receiver coach took him to A&M for an unofficial visit.
"I went to A&M on Saturday," said Cleveland. "I talked with Coach (Jeff) Banks and Coach (Aaron) Moorehead. We just chopped it up for a couple of hours that day. Yeah, it was just like a chill thing, hangout and just talk. They showed me the stadium, and everything was great. It was a great time going up there, talking to those guys.
"His (Coach Moorehead) personality is off the charts," said Cleveland. "He's all about business and at the same time have fun at times. That's what makes him standout over a lot of coaches, also his experience in the NFL and college."
Cleveland reflected on all of his summer visits and ranked each school from 1-to-10, one being an awful time and ten being a great time.
"A&M, if I were to rank it...8," said Cleveland. "I'd give it an 8. I enjoyed myself. Arkansas, It's high. I'd say 8. Not a 10. It wasn't that great, but an 8. It was all right. TCU, I didn't really get to see much so a 5, 6 something like that."
Cleveland has two schools at this point that he knows he will take officials at.
"I have a couple schools in mind, still trying to see where I'm going for officials right now," said Cleveland. "I know Arizona State and Ole Miss I'm taking officials there. Game wise I'm going to see the A&M, Arizona State game. It's going to be crazy...maybe officials to Ohio State, TCU and A&M."
Westfield's training camp starts on Monday, but before that kicks off he said he is trying to visit Baylor, Oklahoma and Houston.
