Commitment date: July 29, 2017

Chose A&M over: Florida, West Virginia, Mississippi State and Oregon, among others

2017 stats: 43 catches for 626 yards and 17 TDs

Why the Aggies wanted him: When you've got a chance to land a receiver who is 6-foot-5, has above average speed and can jump out of the gym, you go and get him. Even though the Aggies were in on several talented receivers, Chapman got an offer and the hard sell in a hurry this summer. It didn't take long for him to decide on the Aggies and shut things down.

2018 projection: The Aggie receiver corps is extremely young and there are very few certainties. Chapman brings good hands and superior height to the group, and he's proven he can be a consistent deep threat. He should get an opportunity this summer to crack the two deep as an outside receiver.
